The Good Times, Edition 5

Wrapped in Community

About

As we close out the year, we reflect on a theme that sits at the heart of our collective mission — Wrapped in Community. Being wrapped in community means that every child, young person, and team member is surrounded by care, connection, and a genuine sense of belonging. It reflects our belief that growth, healing, and safety don’t happen in isolation — they happen when people feel supported, valued, and part of something bigger than themselves.

This Christmas edition is a reminder of the importance of nurturing the relationships that shape a child or young person’s world. From families and carers to mentors, practitioners, and peers, each connection plays a vital role in strengthening identity, safety, and belonging. Wrapped in community, we are committed to creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported — not just during the holidays, but every day.

From the team at Big Brown House, Integrity4Life, The Gray Area, and Hoop Dreams, we wish our community a safe, joyful, and restorative holiday season, and every success as we step into the new year together.
